Practical Golf Psychology

A few years ago, I overheard a golfer who had greatly improved their golf game through regular coaching sessions with me, say to another golfer who was obviously looking for help with their golf game.

I hadn’t ever really considered that angle to my golf coaching up until that point but when I sat down for a little while and considered it, I have spent a large amount of my coaching time over the last 30 years using various aspects of golf psychology to assist golfers to manage their thoughts and processes better.

Having realised that I’d gathered all of this practical knowledge on the subject of golf psychology and seeing first-hand, just how quickly golfers can improve their golf games and their consistency of play, while reducing their frustration with the game and ultimately lowering their golf scores - when they apply the ideas that I impart to them.

I found myself listing the most common golf psychology aspects that I regularly talk to golfers about during a coaching session and began trying to put them into some sort of useful sequence and the result was my Practical Golf Psychology Workshop which I’ve been running for a couple of years now.

It’s a two-hour long workshop takes a look at the dominant (but usually ignored) role that the mind plays in allowing golfers to perform well on the golf course or more commonly for most golfers…………………….the role that their mind plays in keeping them frustrated with their golf game as they continue to repeat the same mistakes on the golf course, over and over again.

Do any of these things apply to you?

You aren’t alone if you experience any or all of those things listed above, in fact, they are just a small sample of the problems that the golfers who do my Practical Golf Psychology Workshop find the answers to.

This book contains the most important parts of the workshop.
